KUNG FU FOR KIDSThis is a unique program for young students to learn the intriguing art of Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu. Students spin, jump, and sink into low twist stances, flashing their satin uniforms and sashes with hands shaped like mantis hooks. This traditional kung fu system builds strength through fluid and graceful movements which become increasingly complex as students progress. Even more striking are the repertoire of Chinese Weapons students learn to use including the Bow Staff, Broad Sword, and Spear. These kids also display their skills at our demonstrations and events throughout the year. |
