I’ve gained an even broader perspective of individuals and families faced with varying degrees of challenges. I have interned in correctional facilities and now work as an emergency services clinician. I have seen the effects of abuse, attack, and trauma, particularly with women. Based on that experience, I enthusiastically advocate program initiatives which are proactive in empowering women to “take a stand” and walk with a sense of confidence and competence.
