These soon become apparent at home, in school and throughout their daily lives and activities. We are experts in utilizing techniques, drills, and activities as "tools" to keep their attention while we zero in on avenues of positive growth that we as parents want so much for our kids.

Our commitment to students' goals separates us from other karate schools Ø we go the extra mile by implementing extensive strengths based programs F Here are just a few:

Gold Star Program /

Kids are awarded gold stars which are proudly displayed on their uniforms for v (1) Progress reports, positive teacher comments and academic certificates (Includes day care and kindergarten) (2) Positive behavior exhibited at home and documented by parents. (3) Documented community service. There is nothing like seeing your child standing at the front of his or her class receiving recognition for doing good things J Your applause will be enthusiastically accompanied by all of the other parents in our waiting area!

Bring in a buddy, especially on week three, as we turn up the "fun-ometer" and have a blast! M If your buddy enrolls in our program, you receive a black belt key chain with one star on the back. Continue to bring in buddies and work toward really cool gift certificates for both kids and parents. We greatly appreciate our students sharing their Body Works martial arts experience with others.

Journey to the Temple of Masters /

Attendance is everything because without it, there is no progress. Your commitment is recognized by our Journey to the Temple Program…Earn really cool colored posters of the 5 animals which make up our Kenpo Karate system by achieving perfect month-to-month attendance. Once you have been awarded all five animals, you will receive our Temple of Masters trophy with your own name engraved on it. This is reason for celebration as parents "enjoy the moment" reflective of much work and sacrifice. Ï At this point …it is all made worthwhile!

This is a continuation of our Journey to the Temple Program. Once a student has received the Journey trophy, it is time to begin the Quest for Excellence. þ Monthly perfect attendance is now marked by gold star pins awarded in front of the class. After accumulating 5 pins, students are presented with the Quest for Excellence Belt…a red/white/blue specialty belt which students attach there 5 gold star pins to. This is truly a noteworthy accomplishment as it signifies two years of perfect attendance…wow…during those belt presentations we incorporate the familiar mat drum rolls, spiritual shout ritual, and sometimes even the pedestal presentation ---sorry L the only way you can know about these fun things is to join us and start your own journey!

Actually we don't reward students for just month-to-month perfect attendance…..OUR students receive a stripe on their belt every time they come to class. That's right C Congratulations and visible recognition is the way we end each and every class!!!
